Bead Stringing Basics: Learn the basics of bead stringing while designing your own necklace or bracelet. You'll also master a simple method for attaching clasps. Materials Needed: Assorted beads and pendants. Fee: $40 Knotting Basics: Knotting between beads adds a touch of sophistication, gives added strength and security to your design, and creates a professional looking piece of jewelry. You'll learn this technique while stringing beads on silk or nylon cord. Materials Needed: Bead strands (2), knotting tweezers, jeweler's cement. Fee: $40 Wire Wrapping Basics: Start developing your wire wrapping skills while learning to capture beads in wire. Bring your patience! Materials Needed: 24-gauge sterling silver or gold filled wire, beads, round-nose pliers, flat-nose pliers. Fee: $40 Advanced Wire Wrapping: You'll capture a free-form stone in wire in a design that is much more intricate than in the beginner's class Materials Needed: 24-gauge sterling silver or gold filled wire, beads, round-nose pliers, flat-nose pliers. Fee: $50 Design of the month: Once a month, Sandrine Klein will show you how to make an original design. Take what you learn and apply it to your own distinctive designs. Call for price. Private and semi-private classes: If you want more individualized attention, you can schedule a private class with Sandrine or invite some friends for a semi-private class (limit 4 students). Private Class: $60 Semi-private Class: $35, for each additional student. Ask about our gift certificates: A gift certificate from The Goddess is a lovely surprise for aspiring jewelry makers of any age! Goddess Card: Regular customers receive a special card and we punch it each time you make a $20 purchase. When the card is full, redeem it for a 15% discount on store merchandise.  Party Party Party: We make your party an event to remember! Any day of the week, The Goddess will schedule a special event party. Parties last for two delightful hours and are scheduled around our regular workshops. To get the date you want, please make your reservations at least 2 to 3 weeks in advance. Bead Parties for Adults: Schedule a private beading lesson with some special friends. In our garden or in your home, the party will be relaxing, creative, and fun! You select the project - wire wrapping, earrings, bead stringing - and we'll customize it to your skill level. we provide the wine and cheese! Fee: $29 per adult (for instruction, materials not included, minimum 6 adults) Parties for Kids (Ages 6-12): This is the perfect party for young beaders. We'll match the jewelry project to the skill level of your guests. Our talented staff will assist young beaders and teach them new skills. We supply teh beads and materials for making fun jewelry. Of course, you are free to supply additional material purchased from our vast supply of beads and pendants. Refreshments will be provided. Fee: $45 per child (minimum of 5/maximum of 10 or upon request) |
